This shot was taken at The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida. First known as the Palm Beach Inn, it was opened in 1896 by Henry Flagler. When guests kept requesting rooms by the breakers (ocean waves), Flagler decided to rename the hotel The Breakers. The wooden hotel burned down in 1903 and again in 1912 by an electric curling iron. They then remodeled the 550 room hotel to have an Italian-Renaissance style and reopened in December of 1926.
